Where the names come from
Florida Fish and Wildlife lists public boat ramps and launches. Our town pages use those names, with distances as approximations, so you can recognize the water near you. A ramp name is a landmark. The work happens at your dock, lift, or trailer.
We come to the boat you actually keep
Most visits are a driveway, a storage lot, a lift, or a dock you can walk. If the hull is on a trailer at a house in Tampa, that is the workplace. If it is in a slip in Naples, that is the workplace. A public ramp is a meeting point only when you and the boat are already there and it is legal and safe to stand aside from launching traffic.
Hours and fees
Launch amenities, fees, and hours come from FWC or the site itself. Town pages list nearby launch names as landmarks with approximate distances. Kayak-only and permit-only sites are left off so the list stays useful for motor boats.
Where we come to the boat
Service is Gainesville to Naples, Central Florida, and the Atlantic coast. A launch name on a town page helps you recognize the water. The visit is still your dock, lift, driveway, or storage lot inside that area.
How to use this with a request
Tell us the town and where the boat will sit. If a nearby FWC launch is the only landmark you know, that helps us find you. The work still happens at the hull.
If you meet us at a launch
If you meet us at a public launch, stand aside from launching traffic and have the hatch open. We still work at the hull, not from a table at the ramp. Photos of the open tray sent before we drive save a wrong-size run either way.
