Battery lines
Common marine battery lines
Chemistry and group size decide the replacement. These pages help you recognize common marine lines already on Florida boats.
Chemistry and group size matter more than the logo. Read flooded, AGM, gel, and lithium and group sizes before a brand page.
- Optima — Optima spiral-wound AGM batteries, including BlueTop marine lines, as commonly used starting and dual-purpose packs.
- Interstate — Interstate flooded marine starting and deep-cycle batteries in common group 24, 27, and 31 sizes, including published 27M-XHD starting and SRM-31 deep-cycle examples.
- Deka — Deka (East Penn) flooded, AGM, and gel marine lines. Chemistry has to match the charger.
- RELiON — RELiON lithium iron phosphate batteries used as group-size house or trolling packs when the charging system can support them.
- Battle Born — Battle Born lithium iron phosphate batteries as house-bank candidates. Charging and BMS limits still apply.
- Exide — Exide flooded marine starting and deep-cycle batteries as commonly found on working and trailer boats.
- Lifeline — Lifeline AGM batteries used on boats that want sealed AGM house or starting power with an AGM charger profile.
