Preparing for a dockside battery visit

Photos of the open trays, charger, and switch, plus where the boat will sit, let us arrive with the right batteries and the right hands.

A black-and-white bowrider with an outboard running on open water. A white flybridge cabin cruiser underway on open water.

Show us the well before we drive

Open the hatch. Photograph each label, the hold-down, the charger, and the switch. Motor voltage if there is a bow motor. That is enough to load the van. A closed boat with “it’s a 31 I think” is how we bring the wrong case to Gainesville.

Where the hull will be

Driveway, storage lot, lift, or dock you can walk. If you only know a nearby FWC launch as a landmark, say so — we still work at the hull. Have the battery switch off if you can do that safely. Leave hatches unlocked or be there.

What we bring depends on those photos

Flooded 31s for a bass-boat string, an AGM starter for a console, a hold-down, terminal hardware. 33 CFR 183.420 is why we care about clamps and real lugs. If the photos show a broken tray, we plan for that part too.

We come to you

Coverage is Gainesville to Naples, Central Florida, and the Atlantic coast. Tell us the town. Inland lakes and salt slips are different jobs; the photos usually reveal which. Call (833) 467-7400.

After we leave

You should know what chemistry is in the boat, what the charger is set to, and whether a neighbor battery in a series string is next. Keep the maintainer on if the boat will sit. That is the whole visit.

Call, then photos

Call (833) 467-7400 or Text us. Call with the town, the hull type, and whether the boat is on a lift, a trailer, or a dock. Photos of the open trays, the charger, and the switch are enough to load the van. If a gate code or a lift key is required, say so on that call so we can reach the hull without a second trip.
