Fast and wet
Contenders pound. A 25 Tournament is a fast saltwater hull. Hold-downs and AGM or well-secured flooded starting batteries have to survive vibration. Flooded paste-shedding in a light tray is a bad match for that ride.
Twins and electronics
Twin outboards often mean two starting batteries plus an electronics or house battery. We replace what failed, and we still talk about the neighbor battery of the same age. Tournament electrical — multiple screens, pumps, and a washdown — is a house-load problem if it shares the start bank.
At the console
We do not guess a cranking number from the model name. Year, engines, and the open well decide the group size.
We come to the boat in the Florida towns we serve. Marine battery replacement and installation is the job, not hull sales.
